FBI Shuting Off its Protection Against International Hackers

A quick test of your computer can save you and hundreds of thousands of other people from a lot of headaches.

Several months ago the FBI launched a safety net against international hackers, who were taking control of computers around the world, with an advertising scam.  These hackers have infected some 570,000 computers worldwide. Side affects of they’re “malware” are slower web surfing and it may even disable your anti-virus protection, leaving you vulnerable to even more attacks.

After July 9, 2012 this system will no longer protect us.  However, you can protect yourself with a few simple clicks.

The FBI suggests visiting its security partner’s site; http://www.dcwg.org/ which will inform you if your computer is infected and how to fix the problem.  After you have entered the site, click on the Green “Detect” Button, then pick your language on the next page.  If your computer is NOT infected the Green Screen message will appear.  If it IS infected a RED Screen message will appear, with further instructions.

I bid you good luck and Thank you for taking the time to read this important information.  Please come back often or sign up to receive these important blogs automatically (there’s always the delete button, if a particular subject isn’t helpful to you).
